Natasha Newland is my best new find! Creative, inspiring, a brilliant photographer and such a beautiful person… she is rapidly nearing the top of my list for front cover-worthy shots and any commerical photography I commission. Solid, dependable, loyal and 100% reliable I have yet to see anything that Tasha has worked on that has been anything but brilliant. Book her before she becomes everyone else’s best new find, too!

A brand organises a shoot when they are in need of new imagery to market a service, product or collection. These images are more often than not used as advertising, or for their social media, for example. For commercial photography, there is always a budget. This means that the brand has set aside money to pay for the images and the team involved in their photoshoot. Commercial images are not created for a bit of fun. They are created to support your client or brand with a launch, an exhibition, or a collection. The brand will, of course, have a message they want to convey, and a look they are looking to achieve. I love working with my clients because they know me through our mutual industry. The one I am thankful to have been part of for the best part of a decade. My clients already know we are a good fit because 90% of my commercial work is by referral. The aim is to capture the story of the brand and why its perfect for their ideal client.
In the past, I worked to capture two full bridal collections for the wonderful Cheltenham based Chanticleer Brides. Both collections were photographed on location, in the Cotswolds. The first at the stunning Woodchester Mansion, and the other at impressive Dame Emily Graffiti Park in Bristol. I worked with the extraordinary Helen James from the Wedding Bazaar for many years. Attending and photographing events for her such as Brides the Show, and A Most Curious Wedding Fair. During this time I was lucky enough to create some beautiful images with her at the Emmy London boutique. These images featured with Helen and also on Love My Dress. Bridal commercial photography is where my passion for the industry and talents for styling really come to life.
What was a bridal hobby seven years ago, has become a huge part of my work. Thankfully, it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling kinds of project, so I am utterly thrilled. Styling an editorial shoot with colleagues is an important marketing adventure. One I embrace, love and am hugely passionate about.
I have found a place of comfort recently. A place where I love challenging the stereotypical boundaries placed upon wedding suppliers. It is rapidly becoming the place I want to spend most of my time. A place to experiment with stories and endless possibilities. Taking on this new editorial shoot director role is both thrilling and challenging. My aim is to create bridal inspiration to lure the observer. Create a cure for the everyday repetitiveness we see across the industry. With skill, ingenuity and hard-work wedding suppliers are capable of achieving extraordinary work. We are able to bring editorials to life in complete harmony and with genuine finesse. Creating sublime styling and bridal brilliance effortlessly. Ensuring you have authentic and romantic inspiration. Inspiration provided to you in infinitely beautiful ways, across many platforms.
This type of visual narrative is critical to both couples getting married, and the wedding industry. Without it, we will not evolve, or be experimental. We, as an industry will stay planted amongst exhausted past trends. Unable to find a way of being adventurously impassioned. Unable to mould trends and design elements to create your dream wedding day. Inspiration and elements that challenge us, and in turn build future trends. This is why creative wedding professionals look to inspire you with work they collaboratively create. Why we work to break boundaries, and stretch opinions. Why we serve you new ideas and arousing bridal styling experiments. Why we work together on an initial concept. All the way through to a final creative direction, to execution. It is our aim: to show you what is possible when you think outside the box and move away from “tradition”.
Using a natural and engaging process our creative hands grow the every day into spectacular concepts. Our renown gentle touch will create an aesthetic to a shoot that will resonate and engage.
