Emmy London was launched over 10 years ago. What started as a boutique business quickly gained interest and Emmy’s entrepreneurial momentum – her heritage as a descendant of the Harrods founder Charles Digby Harrod – has brought the luxury brand from strength to strength.
Attending London’s prestigious Cordwainers College of footwear and fashion, Emmy followed her dreams amongst the likes of former graduates Jimmy Choo, Emma Hope and Patrick Cox. After graduating, Emmy kick-started her career at Marks and Spencer’s, learning the essential ingredients to successfully getting desirable products to market.
Making the move to Milan, Emmy continued her experience at one of the top fashion houses Gorgio Armani, allowing her experience and talent to truly flourish. Emmy didn’t go unnoticed and soon after she was asked to assist fashion designer Stuart Vevers to create an accessory line for the notorious luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta. After five years soaking up the skills and expertise around her, Emmy packed her bags and returned to the UK to launch her own luxury brand. The Emmy brand was born out of a light bulb moment back in 2004 and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
The Emmy London collection has introduced a luxury offering of personally designed shoes and accessories, with a statement signature formed by a Swarovski crystal on the sole.
“My life’s work has evolved around exploring designs at the pinnacle of fashion and Emmy London dedicates itself to undeniable beauty, bespoke craftsmanship and the quintessentially British style.”
